Current Support and Funding Facts

* Casa de Amigos operates with an annual budget of $1.5 million and has been a United Way of MIdland member agency (now Program Provider) since 1973

* Funding for programming is predominately local and includes United Way of Midland (24%), Foundations (28%), Government funding (24%), Individuals and Churches (10%), Special Events (9%) and Investment Income (5%).

* Programs are primarily supported by approximately 300 donors including nearly 20 local foundations.

* Most funding comes from sources other than individuals and at this time a gift of $1,000 to $2,500 from an individual or family is considered a major gift.

* The agency's beautiful 20,000-square-foot facility, completed in 1990, was entirely funded by The J. E. and L. E. Mabee Foundation of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
